Beskrivelse

Porcine TEGV-PEDV-ROTA Antigen Rapid Test (TEGV-PEDV-ROTA)

Catalog No.:JIP519

The Porcine TEGV-PEDV-ROTA Antigen Rapid Test is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of Porcine Transmissible Gastroenteritis virus antigen (TEGV Ag), Epidemic Diarrhea Virus antigen (PEDV Ag) and Rota Virus antigen (ROTA Ag) in pig's feces specimen.

Assay Time:  5-10 minutes

The Porcine TEGV-PEDV-ROTA Antigen Rapid Test is based on sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The test device has a testing window for the observation of assay running and result reading. The testing window has an invisible T (test) zone and a C (control) zone before running the assay. When the treated sample was applied into the sample hole on the device, the liquid will laterally flow through the surface of the test strip and react with the pre-coated monoclonal antibodies. If there is target antigen in the specimen, a visible T line will appear. The C line should always appear after a sample is applied, which indicates a valid result. By this means, the device can accurately indicate the presence of TEGV antigen, PEDV antigen or ROTA antigen in the specimen.

Porcine Transmissible Gastroenteritis virus (PTGV), Epidemic Diarrhea Virus (PEDV), and Rotavirus (Rota) are causing major economic losses to the pig industry worldwide. These three viruses are known to be fecal-oral transmitted and their symptoms include diarrhea, vomiting, and dehydration, which can lead to high mortality rates, especially in young piglets. Rapid and accurate diagnosis of these viruses is essential for the implementation of control measures and prevention of further spread.

This article presents the Porcine Transmissible Gastroenteritis Virus Antigen (TEGV Ag), Epidemic Diarrhea Virus Antigen (PEDV Ag), and Rotavirus Antigen (ROTA Ag) Rapid Test, an innovative approach to detecting these pathogens quickly and accurately in swine fecal samples.

Porcine Transmissible Gastroenteritis is caused by the Porcine Transmissible Gastroenteritis virus (PTGV). This virus is responsible for significant economic losses due to its high mortality rate in piglets. The diagnosis of PTGV is predominantly based on clinical symptoms, which include severe diarrhea and dehydration.

The TEGV Ag Rapid Test is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay that is designed to detect the presence of the PTGV antigen in swine fecal samples. The assay utilizes monoclonal antibodies that are specific to PTGV and can detect the viral antigen in fecal samples as early as three days post-infection.

The TEGV Ag Rapid Test is easy to use and does not require any specialized equipment or training. The test can be performed on-site and provides results within 10-20 minutes. The accuracy of the test is very high, with sensitivity and specificity rates of over 95%.

Epidemic Diarrhea Virus (PEDV) is an enveloped RNA virus that causes severe diarrhea and dehydration in piglets. This virus has caused significant economic losses to the swine industry worldwide. The diagnosis of PEDV is predominantly based on clinical symptoms, which include vomiting, watery diarrhea, and dehydration.

The PEDV Ag Rapid Test is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay that is designed to detect the presence of the PEDV antigen in swine fecal samples. The assay utilizes monoclonal antibodies that are specific to PEDV and can detect the viral antigen in fecal samples as early as three days post-infection.

The PEDV Ag Rapid Test is easy to use and does not require any specialized equipment or training. The test can be performed on-site and provides results within 10-20 minutes. The accuracy of the test is very high, with sensitivity and specificity rates of over 95%.

Rotavirus (Rota) is a double-stranded RNA virus that causes severe diarrhea and dehydration in young piglets. This virus has caused significant economic losses to the swine industry worldwide. The diagnosis of Rota is based on clinical symptoms, which include watery diarrhea, vomiting, and dehydration.

The ROTA Ag Rapid Test is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay that is designed to detect the presence of the Rota antigen in swine fecal samples. The assay utilizes monoclonal antibodies that are specific to Rota and can detect the viral antigen in fecal samples as early as three days post-infection.

The ROTA Ag Rapid Test is easy to use and does not require any specialized equipment or training. The test can be performed on-site and provides results within 10-20 minutes. The accuracy of the test is very high, with sensitivity and specificity rates of over 95%.

The Porcine Transmissible Gastroenteritis Virus Antigen, Epidemic Diarrhea Virus Antigen, and Rotavirus Antigen Rapid Tests are innovative and reliable diagnostic tools for the rapid and accurate detection of these three viruses in pig fecal samples. These tests are easy to use and do not require any specialized equipment or training. They provide highly accurate results within 10-20 minutes, making them useful in both field and laboratory settings. The implementation of these rapid tests can aid in the control and prevention of these highly infectious and economically devastating viruses.
